Mission Objectives

For Educators:
Have an example & prototype which is known to all participants and allows the instructor to cover a complex subject without straying from the objective of communicating the best processes for obtaining maximum database results.

For Marketers:
To have a method to compare competing products. which explores all features and an innovative marketing plan using publishers to spread free copies of PublicPIM to subscribers.

For Software Tool Makers:
To create a presentation which would use all functions of the particular tool in developing this
Personal or GroupWare Data Warehouse
structure and demonstrate how other components can be created to attach and use this basic information. The data would be understood by a majority of seminar audiences anywhere in the world and allow them to concentrate on how the tool massages and displays that data. To give each participant the incentive to use the host's particular tool by giving them a copy of what is created at the seminar for their personal use. To keep participants and prospects informed by marketing pre-loaded copies with information about the companies personnel and products.

For Software Developers:
To be able to develop using a
Personal or GroupWare Data Warehouse
"Central Data Source"
which could be the common component to attach their programs to
which would allow less "reinventing the wheel" on each new project.

For End Users: One Repository For All Data!
To allow programs from different developers to use the same common data and save the end user
the effort of maintaining data in several different applications.
To allow end users to attach components to create applications and not have to pick the "best of the litter"
from applications which may or may not have the features they desire.
To allow end users to easily import/export data from publishers or web-sites that would then be available to all attached software.
To allow legacy data to easily be evolved into a Personal or Corporate Data Warehouse
and be more centralized for easier analysis.
